Where does the heat come from?

I am often asked "Where did the heat come from?" As part of the activation of Reiki, my hands often heat up and sometimes even cool down. Reiki always adjusts to what the person needs at any given moment. Energy is intelligent like that. Even when clients fall asleep, the energy is still moving and working for the highest good. Every session is a little different as each person is different. And only if you are truly open to it will you receive the healing energy. There is no forcing of the energy ever. It will simply return to sender.
